Alright, this is going to be really hard, considering I've read so many books! I might be missing a few, but here's three off the top of my head:
1. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling (love each book, and while this one might not be the "best written," it's the one that brought me into the magical world, lol)
2. A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray (really great book, it was a departure from HP but it still had that magical element to it and the plot really drew me in to the story)
3. Tell No One by Harlan Coben (okay, this book is just fun. It's like a giant mystery novel and it is really intense. May not be the best book ever written, but I read it about 2 years ago and I still think about it!)

Well, I am sure there are more books that I love, but honestly I'm blanking on them! lol, so here are the worst books:
1. Woman Warrior by Maxine Hong Kingston (alrighty. My class had to read this last month and we were all confused by it. I didn't like it...)
2. Cry, The Beloved Country by Alan Paton (we read this last year, and honestly, I could see the reasoning behind the book and everything, but I just didn't like it!)
3. The River Between Us by Richard Peck (ehh, read this a long time ago... all I can remember about it is that I really didn't like it! lol)

Honorable Mentions for Worst Books:
Twilight - yeah, I read it. I liked it too (the movie sucked though... it actually turned me off to the book series!)! It's not the greatest thing out there. It isn't written very well and it's just been blown out of proportion! Blahhhh.
Stardust by Neil Gaiman (ehhh, the movie was better...)

Alrighty! Soooo, about those "A Very Potter Musical" gifs. I have started to cut down on their file sizes, so that you can load them as a user pic here on LJ. Some of them are just so big that I am afraid I can't resize them, but some are alright. I should have those (hopefully) finished by tomorrow sometime.

Also, I saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at the midnight showing!! First off, it was my first ever midnight showing! My friends and I got together before hand and made t-shirts. Mine had a quote on the back from HBP and while it really wasn't artistic, it was still good. Then we headed to the theater lobby at 8:00 pm, and man, I was glad we got there early! We sat in line and read magazines, talked, and watched people pour into the lobby. I thought it was really cool to see everyone who dressed up! Some people wore the Hogwarts robes and Harry glasses, while others came in with black cloaks and had the dark mark on their arms! It was a cool experience! Then there was the movie, and it was sooooooo good! I mean, I remember having very high expectations for Order of the Phoenix, and after seeing it I was really disappointed. I knew it was bad to have high expectations for Half-Blood Prince, but I did, and this time I wasn't let down! I loved it. I wouldn't say that it is my favorite movie of the seires yet, I'll need to see it a few more times to make that decision (currently, my favorite is Prisoner of Azkaban). But I just loved all of the comedy mixed in with the seriousness of HBP, and jeez, I was actually okay with the things that they cut from the book and the things they added in! It just seemed to flow altogether, and everything made sense! (haha, at least to me... this is all my opinion, of course!) I was overall satisfied. Can't wait to see it again! :]

Hello! These 120 icons are are the result of a 4 day project. I started by getting 145 screencaps
from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl with my main goal being to use all 145 of
them. As I went along, I realized I couldn't use all of them just simply because some were blurry
or I just didn't feel I could do anything with it. I might continue with screencaps for Pirates if I ever
feel like it or if there is demand for them. I am so happy with the way these all turned out, and I
hope that you all like them! :]
